Between Laguna Chilagotoro and the village of Rio Grande is Cacao, a Lenca village where is possible to visit a textile workshop and buy handkerchiefs, cover ups and the traditional “ponchos”. There is also a Lenca nursery with flowers native to the area.

Less than a mile from the village of Río Grande there is a gorgeous 120 meter waterfall, with a camping site nearby.
